Handling of Personal Information


Aquoire Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") conducts its business activities based on its management philosophy and established code of conduct, aiming to contribute to society, gain trust from all customers, and meet expectations. Personal information is a valuable asset of customers that must be strictly managed, and it is also an important asset for the Company as a source of new value creation.
The Company handles customers' personal information in accordance with the following basic policies.

The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and regulations. Furthermore, the Company steadily implements and maintains the "Aquoire Personal Information Protection Program" (hereinafter referred to as "Company Regulations") and strives for continuous improvement.

The Company establishes a management system for personal information protection, ensures that officers and employees are fully aware of the Company Regulations, and makes efforts to ensure thorough compliance.

The Company handles personal information within the scope of the purposes of use explicitly stated to customers. Additionally, the Company does not disclose or provide personal information obtained from customers to third parties, except with the customer's consent or when there is a legitimate reason.

The Company strives to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date and to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.

The Company responds sincerely and promptly to customer inquiries and requests regarding personal information, including requests for disclosure.
 

Purposes of Use of Personal Information

4) Issuing warranties and providing warranty services
5) Product development, conducting surveys, and implementing monitoring

② The Company does not disclose or provide customers' personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:
1) When the customer has given consent
2) When required by law
3) When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining the customer's consent is difficult
4) When outsourcing the handling of personal information within the necessary scope to achieve the purposes of use
5) When business succession occurs due to mergers, company splits, business transfers, or other reasons

Notwithstanding the above (1), the Company may provide customers' addresses, names, phone numbers, etc., to affiliated companies or agents when it is deemed appropriate for them to respond to inquiries about products, repairs, or services. In such cases, customers may request the Company to stop providing their personal information to such affiliated companies.

Requests for disclosure, etc., must be made by mailing the designated request form along with the required documents. When mailing the request form to the Company, please use a method that allows confirmation of delivery, such as recorded delivery or registered mail. Additionally, please write "Personal Information Request Enclosed" in red on the envelope.
 

Other Matters


This "Personal Information Protection Policy" applies to the handling of personal information by Aquoire Co., Ltd. within Japan. It does not apply to domestic affiliated companies or overseas subsidiaries.
Please note that some services provided by the Company (including services on the Company's website) may not be available if customers do not provide personal information.
Customers under 16 years of age are requested to provide personal information only with parental consent.
The Company may revise this Personal Information Protection Policy to better protect customers' personal information or due to changes in relevant laws.

Some customers using free email services (e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, goo Mail) have reported not receiving emails after placing orders or making inquiries. In most cases, this is due to settings in the free email service. If you do not receive a reply from the Company within 30 minutes after placing an order, bidding, or making an inquiry, please check the following settings on your computer: inbox capacity, spam filter settings, and email forwarding settings.
